Either/Or

On my needles is a small tunic size 1 year, the yarn is Duo Silke, a silk and merino, half-and-half. I have had this pale light pink in my stash for a while and thought it was a good choice for this project. And I had a bit of leftover in the same brand from Whisper, however I am not too pleased with the color combination. I find it a bit insipid, need some more bite.**Luckily I am running out of yarn and it is possible for me to shift to some other colors. I am about to begin the lower border which is garter ridges in stripes. I can use leftovers from the knitted shawls I have worked, they are Jaggerspun Zephyr, not the same brand but silk/merino as well.

Here is a survey of the color combo:

  1. It seems as if you couldn't go wrong with any of those choices, but I like the darker brown at the bottom and the teal. Love the quote, too. Isn't the the truth!

  2. It will be cute in anyway! But if I have to choose...... I may go for the gentle orange on bottom left. Goodluck!

  3. That is a wonderful and clever quote! I bet it is even more fun when the yarn runs out and the knitter is a spinner as well!
