divine

This summer I have worked a new cardigan . It is one of Kim Hargreaves´ patterns from her book Breeze.
I have followed the pattern exactly as written and used the yarn the pattern called for. 12 skeins of Rowan Wool Cotton. I still have some stitching left.

My favorite colors are sea-green and verdigris green and every green in between. My most graceful ear rings are made of old copper. When the copper roof on the local cathedral were renewed, a very clever coppersmith bought some of the roofing and transformed it into the most exquisite trinkets.

My favourite cardigan for the last five years is Cossack, a Marianne Isager Design.Published in the book Classic Knits. One thread of Spinni and one thread of tvinni. Cuffs and peplum are done with an extra thread of chenille. If you are a raveller you can find it here.

I hope basket weaved Ali will be a worthy successor
