We have a summer wedding coming up and I am the lucky grandmother to a 7 year-old who wants a bolero in white over a pale pink cotton dress with pale yellow flowers. I have chosen Ysolda´s pattern Liesl. It is perfect when you knit for someone you do not see everyday; knit from the top. The work is resting until she has tried it on. The yarn is a bamboo/cotton blend held double and the combination of color, fiber and the feather and fan pattern gives me associations with meringue and whipped cream.

It does look delicious and I am a fan of whipped cream...I have knitted to the center of the shawl border. I am afraid of going in reverse. It is a good thing I do not mind ripping it out when I make a mistake!----taking it slow.
