"patience is necessary"

THIS
Summer Sampler Study was done in ½ an hour a day - for 110 days .

There are 12 different patterns and a cable&lace edging.

Two hundred years ago poor girls in Denmark learned to knit lace in order to get an income. They knit their samples four inches wide and about thirty different patterns. These samples were used as an inspiration for future knitting for bonnets, socks, shawls.
My Sample is generously offered as a free pattern. It is Badcat from New York who has sampled patterns from Japan, England, Shetland, Germany.

  2. Thanks. I used Lacey Lamb, which the pattern called for.
