I found an old vintage knitted tape at the local Flee Market. It is 110cm long and 5 cm wide. Knittted in garter stitch and with a crochet edge. I knew instinctively what it was meant for : Blocking my circular shawl.
End of tape pinned in the middle. Using it as a compass. Radius 65cm. One pin in each edge point. This was done in half an hour.
