the first period of a man's life

When my granddaughter was born in October I found this old magazine from my old patterns.






















































My son II was born in 1982 and and I worked a lot of these patterns. He was dressed in lanolin wool from day one. The soakers were worn outside a cotton diaper and the lanolin made them waterproof.

















Grandchild II is now two month old and my DIL told that the little one is very comfortable when she wears a small cotton/wool vest over her T-shirt.
